This site is listed in the The Fanlisting Network, a place that lists all the fans of many certain subjects. A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject. In other words, basically just a list of names of people who like a certain subject. This particular fanlisting is for Pyramid Head. Who has so far appeared in Silent Hill 2 and the Silent Hill movie.

Who is he?

Pyramid Head stalks you throughout Silent Hill 2. He is there to make James suffer for his sins. There are many interesting theories about this monster, far too many to list.

Why a fanlisting for this character?

Put it this way, when I saw he didn't have a fanlisting at the The Fanlisting Network, I didn't hesitate -- I applied straight away. When I got the fanlisting. I could have cried with joy! I love this character to bits. He is one of my favourite Silent Hill characters and monsters.

Why Dark Tormentor?

I was stuck for a title. I wish I had a better one. Pyramid Head stalks James Sunderland throughout Silent Hill. He also kills Maria over and over again, to punish him for his sins. He also goes round raping random monsters.

The film

I personally didn't like the film. However, I still like Pyramid Head in it and felt he should have been in it more. He basically wanders around the school and later around the church as the town is devoured by darkness. Dahlia Gilespie can summon him and he seems to be a manifestation of the darkness that devours Silent Hill.

Random

Pyramid Head is one of the most identifiable creatures of the Silent Hill series. If you ask people to list their favourite characters or monsters, Pyramid Head will no doubt, appear on that list. He is well loved in the Silent Hill universe. Not bad, considering he does nothing but stab, hurt, stalk, molest and indulges in orgies and sodomy.
